2002/06/09 Maintenance Update the .CSS: Add a few new elements. pre - For space that will show up in Lynx. invisible - For captions and other text that will pop up when CSS is unsupported. (Primarily for Lynx.) officerdutybox - For the JavaScript enabled popup box of our officers job descriptions. NEW background for better contrast. All Pages: Code cleanup for accessibility issues. Added THEAD and TBODY tags to the tables. Rethink my wording and use of the CAPTIONs. Work with spacing issues that show up without TABLE support (Lynx). Added the TITLE= atribute to most of my A HREF tags. Rethink my use of the ALT= atribute on my link images. Home: Touch up link text and spacing. (still need work). Gallery: Rethink my use of and remove, the layout table. Reposition the "Opt Out" notice. (on event indexes as well.) 2002/05/03 Maintenance All Pages: Rewrite the disclaimer per SCA ruling of 20020224. Add a robots.txt file for search bot cleanliness. Home: Add "keywords", "description", and "robots" META tags for search bot. Links n' Info: Removed the W3C compliance icons. These pages WILL (mostly) conform to the W3C's recommendation for HTML 4.01 Transitional, excepting for the closing slash on "lone" tags (for XHTML compliance) These pages WILL (mostly) conform to the W3C's recommendation for XHTML 1.0 Transitional, but using that DOCTYPE looses Mozillia's support for CSS The Gallery page NEEDS to have the block level elements (H2) inside the line level element (A) for the page to display properly in Netscape 4.08. The CSS used to comply with the W3C's recommendations, but i have added some elements that don't conform and am still tracking solutions.

2002/03/19 Maintenance All Pages: The use of 'getFullYear()' rather than 'getYear()' in the last update script, fixed the problem for Netscape 6.2, 4.08 has a Y2K bug. Home: Reworded fighter practice segment for the summer season. Officers: We NEED a Herald and Minister Of Arts And Sciences. Activities: brought up to date. Note: due to the "Busy season" on the event trail, Fighter Practice has been reduced to once a month at Cold Drakes Keep.
